If your Voyager doesn`t start , the first thing you need to make sure is that you fully depress the clutch( on manual) or brake pedal( on auto gearbox models) while you turn the ignition key in the starting position.
If you still can`t start the vehicle that could be caused by a flat main battery. The battery system in the Ford Transit Custom models are very sophisticated , however in some rare occasions ( headlights left on, interior lights left on for over 15 hours etc.) the main battery can go flat.
if this happens you have two options:
1 - Contact roadside assistance, give them your location and wait for a patrol to arrive and jump-start the vehicle for you.
2- If you have someone around you with a pair of jump leads and a running vehicle and you feel confident doing the procedure you can jump-start your campervan .
To do this please follow the instructions :
Open the bonnet
You need the ignition keys to do this. picture #1 in attachment shows you the location where the key needs to be inserted. Then you need to turn it anti clockwise until the bonnet catch releases( picture #2).
last step is to turn it fully clockwise and keep it in this position until you lift the bonnet up.
Once the bonnet is open , you need to connect the jump leads. Connection points are marked with the arrows in the attachment picture( Red is positive, orange is negative connection point)
Hence the vehicles are less than 2 years old, all batteries are still under warranty and shouldn't be faulty. Battery replacements must be authorised by Spaceships team otherwise replacement costs wont be covered by us.
