Before picking up your vehicle from any branch you must have completed your online check in. This must be done 72 hours before pick up, at the latest. There is a link to your Check In on your Booking Confirmation email. Alternatively, you can go to https://portal.spaceshipsrentals.co.uk and enter your Booking Number and Last Name on your booking to log in and Check In.
During the Check In, you will:
- Enter details of the named hirer/main driver.
- Be able to add on upto 4 drivers total included in the hire cost. This involves adding driving licence details and uploading driving licence photos for all drivers.
- All drivers must also electronically sign the Rental Agreement during the Check In.
- You can add on optional extras and additional insurance during the Check In.
- You will enter a bank card to be saved with your booking. Spaceships will use this bank card to freeze the relevant insurance excess amount within the 24 working hours prior to your hire. You must ensure the relevant funds are available on the bank card. This is:
- Bronze Cover - £2,500 for motorhomes or £1,500 for campervans.
- Silver Cover - £250 for motorhomes and campervans.
- Gold Cover - £0 for motorhomes and campervans.
- The bank card will also be used for any other applicable charges under our Terms & Conditions.
